But it's not like he can resist Fai's pouting for very long and so he gets up to sit next to him by the bed, his smile briefly apologetic as he reaches out to caress Fai's cheek, the Misdreavus tagging along by holding on to Yuui's hair, all in all it's proving to be a very good hiding place. "The books say that they feed on fear so... thank you for the meal?" His smile turns more teasing again and a small giggle escapes him. "I was thinking about sending him after uncle the next time he's hungry. Since we're so newly bonded I don't think they'll blame me much for it."

He settles in a bit closer and leans his head against Fai's shoulder. "I didn't mean to scare you too badly you know, I just wanted to show him off a bit. Though you have to admit your reaction was kind of funny. I can make it up to you...?" His voice trails off and he looks for Fai's Flabébé, making sure to send it an apologetic smile as well. "I'm sorry if we disturbed you too, little one. I hope you won't hold it against us too much."
