She honestly can't pick a favorite. She likes them all! Her music is instrumental only, and it's generally calm and soothing, but she can definitely pick up a good beat if she's in the mood.

Sounds good to me! We could do a log meet up, if you want. Ami is super friendly to pokemon so she's very likely to get along with the Blaziken or any of Ishimaru's pokemon, really. I should mention that her second evolution affected her more than what the actual manga does. Her skin has a blue tint and her body temperature is actually lower and she produces frost on items. It's why she has her cyndaquil with her everywhere.

Ishimaru's a little nervous around the visibly Enlightened being a self-proclaimed ordinary man, but he'd hardly mind the company of someone like Ami. He really enjoys being with his Pokemon and meeting others, but he just hasn't had the opportunity to really show it without having something go amiss. Perhaps they could seize the opportunity to lighten him up a little! Cuddle puddles.

It's not a problem! It relates to the whole situation with Ishimaru's grandfather Toranosuke above - in canon, he rose up through the political ranks to became the Prime Minister of Japan without any education past high school, without any formal sponsors, and with unprecedented speed to boot. But it was his naïveté that led him to cause the disastrous scandal that ruined his family name, leading Ishimaru to believe that Toranosuke did what he did relying on natural talent, or "genius", rather than any form of hard work. His relationship to his grandfather is complicated, but Ishimaru resents the lazy and unmotivated in large part because of him.

To Ishimaru, genius is a double-edged sword, with any great gains made through genius being fragile at best. When he becomes Prime Minister/Councilmember, he's pledged to create a society where hard workers are justly rewarded. It's also heavily implied that Ishimaru himself has been casually called a genius on more than one occasion due to his high academic standing, and he reacts to the term with substantial anger and apprehension.

Maybe Ishimaru's professor asks Ami to come speak to his class as sort of a "what the medic track can do for you" sort of thing and we can go from there?

That works out quite nicely! He takes very precise notes, so he could approach her after class and ask her if he missed any key points in her lecture and catch her attention that way.

Yeah I've heard they're everywhere, but idk, in the rules only charas with a certain ability can start with two off the starter list. Adding another as simply as that seems like a way around it. Anyway, it would be easy. Going with someone to like the mines has a little more plotting potential.

She also needs to be convinced to start levelling her Ralts. It's still level eleven! She's sheltering it.

Since these two met during the event, I would love to do more stuff with them. Sanae's kind of a moe blob, who typically has her stuff together and is extremely earnest, if not a bit weird.

Also re: Excellen, I forget, what's Hayato's age? I think we established they're relatively close but I don't recall.

Also also, so with Elly taking a bit more of a background role, I'd really love to flesh out more CR with Eiji and Nozomi. She's been in something of a spiritual slump lately, and for some odd reason, I feel like he might be really good for advice with that (even if he isn't spiritual himself) due to his traveling. Thoughts?

So I have an incoming Calderan soldier, I imagine it would be possible that she would know Estelle's dad at least somewhat. Estelle's kind of the type that Excellen wouldn't really leave alone, too (because adorable child), so there's that.

So we really, really need to get the hotblooded idiot trio (Right, Sanae and Takuto) together for some shenanigans. I'm not sure what yet, but this needs to happen. I demand it.

Lux and Lenna need to celebrate Lenna's new evolution, I think. Also I'd love to get more CR between her and Chie, considering the body swap event a while back. I've always felt like that was a missed opportunity.

With Elly leaving, I feel like I need to fill the gap with her and Martin. I'm not sure that Cordelia would be the best one for this, honestly, but I think Nozomi might be an interesting candidate. She's probably the most mom-like character I have right now, and is a member of the Fey family by adoption. While not a spirit medium herself (she's more of an oracle), she does have a vested interest in the affairs of spirits, again, due to her family.

Cordelia will continue to find him a good wife, though. SHE'S BOUND AND DETERMINED.

Regarding Kili, please help Lux loosen up dear lord she needs this so bad. Also if he's a kid from Caldera, that probably means he knows Excellen. She's loud, vaguely uncomfortable, flirts to get a rise out of people, but is very protective and well-meaning. I think they could have some fun banter.

Whoops, so I didn't realize that Ishimaru was a noble and had connections to the council. That would mean that he and Lux likely know each other (I believe he's a year or so younger than her). I feel like it might even be interesting to have their grandfathers either have been very good friends, or to have butt heads, since both were involved heavily with the Swords.

It might be interesting too to say that she attended the same academy, although she would have graduated early because lol genius child.

I feel really silly now for not doing my research before tagging his intro, I'm really sorry about that! I'm not sure if you wanted to retcon things or not.

So Eric suggested this to me last night and I rather agree. I kind of want to see CR between Lucca and Lux. While Lux isn't an Engineer herself, I feel like these two could be potentially dangerous together.

That being said, I remember you mentioning that you wanted to partially resolve the thing we have going on with Rei and Sanae, and I would be all for that. She's a bit down on herself right now, since the mission with Lugia and Articuno went south fast. She's really doubting her ability to get stronger and to be a proper member of the DDF. As such, she has probably been avoiding the Hikawa shrine entirely since that episode, because, quite honestly? She doesn't feel like she's a proper rival for Rei right now.

Also concerning Rei, I'm going to be shifting Nozomi into more of a spiritual focus, and having her question a few things regarding that. She'll probably need a bit of help, but is way, WAY too proud to ask.

Also all the CR with Yuuna. I'm not sure who with yet. Elly's going to be heading out in June, so if you wanted to resolve any loose ends with her, now would be the time.

I feel like we should get a bit more CR between Lucas and Lux. Nearly dying to a workout junkie can really bring people together.

Lucas and Nozomi CR might be interesting too, considering his past. She isn't a spirit medium herself, but does still feel very connected to that sort of thing due to her connection with the Fey family. I'll be phasing Elly out over the next month, so that might be a good alternative to their CR.

Although Sanae hasn't been heckling her much lately, if that's any consolation. And really, she's kind of just an annoying kid that wanders around the shrine from time to time. She could probably be dangerous if she really wanted to, but Rei intimidates the heck out of her.
