Character Name: Maka Albarn

Blurb: 15 year old bookworm tryhard trying to find her own identity in the weird puberty onset of her Enlightened abilities. It includes being able to sense and feel (very strongly) the emotions of others unless her Espurr restrains it for her, so she frequently represses her own emotions so they don't get muddled up in others. She's big on diligence, courage, honesty, and is a little more sensitive to being judged than most.

AU Info: This got too long when I was typing it so I'm going to bullet point it.
• Kindred Soul Union native, Psychic/Fairy type
• Dad is pretty well off being the aide of a councilman (the only name Maka knows councilman by is Mr. Mort. Anybody that knows SE will know what I'm talking about) but he also has a goddamn huge problem with being a womanizing cheater that essentially chased his wife out of the city with his nonsense.
• Most people of Union assume and speak openly about Maka's mom being dead.
• Maka is as a result very hesitant to open herself up to other people or visit, say, character-owned businesses unless she knows them very well. Spirit (her dad) hits on all adult women and mothers if they happen to be in his age range (he's 33. Yes he's canonically that young, don't look at me, blame Ohkubo.)
• Why does that matter, because people kick Maka out of businesses where her dad hit on/dated/cheated on female employees and she flat refuses to even entertain the idea that her mother is dead. Yeah.

Also ghosts, human and Pokemon, are attracted to her and frequently pull at/push her around or end up following her. She doesn't know why yet and is pretty sure people think she's crazy as fuck for getting bullied by invisible things.

Pre-Existing CR: Absolutely, if your character is noble or associated with/aware of politics they probably would have heard of her parents and their "nice little daughter." If your character is an adult female, they've probably been hit on by Spirit. Or your character's mums if they're in his age range. She is sorry. She is so sorry. He's an idiot. She's also a bookworm, ultra studious student, idk do nerds often socialize she kinda does and that's weird.

Potential Connections: The library. All the time. She lives over in Ninetales Vale and can be frequently seen at Hikawa Shrine where she assists Rei with sundry chores (and gets some protection from ghost bullies).

Also her Darumaka had a habit of running around and putting her paws on people as a means of saying "hi" before this whole event traumatized the fuck out of all of them. So abnormally happy pink Darumaka? Probably Sally.
