House Meme

Since we're all citizens of the great city of Union, we all presumably have houses. Since all of the buildings are enormous towers, these houses can range from anything to multi-story buildings that take up several floors of an entire tower to modest studio apartments that are just a small chunk of a single floor on a tower. So! What does your character's house look like? Do they share with friends or family? I wanna know!

The Flourite residence is best described as simply "too big". Too big for a relatively small family, too big considering that space in Union still is limited, too big to not always feel a little bit empty when you move about the premises.

It is situated at the top of one of the towers, taking up four floors plus the roof, which is covered by a glass-encased garden and often used for throwing parties. A wide set of stairs leads from there to the fourth floor, which is the "public" part of their home, accessible directly from the entry hall via a mechanical elevator which is usually activated by Psychic power. The fourth floor is where guests are entertained, and where the older Flourites have their offices and locales for business meetings.

From the roof a separate, smaller staircase also leads down to the third and second floor, which is the private section of the Flourite home.

On the third floor Fai and Yuui's parents, their uncle and their grandparents on their father's side live in their own private suites. That floor also contains the library and a smaller, more private dining hall. The second is where Fai and Yuui live, and that is also the floor that houses everyone's pokémon, who all live in their own specially adjusted rooms rather than in the Habitat. Also the bath, since this floor is closest to the boilers on floor 1.

The first floor - perfectly in accordance with the term 'below stairs' - is reserved for the staff. This includes the kitchen, the pokémon kitchen, the laundry room, and the housing for all of the staff. (Kitchen staff, cleaning staff, pokémon care staff, the family Medic - who of course gets and extra large suite along with his/her own office - and each family member's personal attendant.)
