Testrun meme the second!

With ATP and fresh interest, we are putting up a fresh testrun meme to try out your characters with a few new prompts!

This meme is for people to test out new characters in the Brave New World setting! All threads within this meme can be used for the application sample requirements, a thread with one character with at least 10 comments from your character can be used in place of a first person sample, and two threads with two different characters with at least 10 comments from your character can be used in place of a third person sample. Both samples may be negated in this fashion. Here are a few prompts, feel free to make your own if need be!

1. It's spring and a sudden swarm of Bugs of all types have descended upon the city to mate; there are giant bees and butterflies and moths everywhere. What do you do?

2. Rumors have spread of the sight of an extremely rare green Swellow in the forests nearby. Everyone wants to try to bond with it, but the forest birds are becoming extremely territorial and have been attacking travelers. Are you trying to get the Swellow for yourself? Or are you playing protection duty?

3. The Warp Bands are malfunctioning and everyone keeps getting everyone else's random Pokémon they've never met when they try to fight. You just got someone else's Pokémon, what is it and how do you respond?

4. The temperature regulation for the Ice Pokémon in the Habitat Tower has malfunctioned and the weather in the city is suddenly plummeting. It's becoming too cold to live safely, and you need to get it back online pronto.

5. The Medical Center is dealing with a record high number of cases of paralysis. The patients need to be tended to - but it seems to be being caused by the winds bringing in spores from grass Pokemon. It seems a humongous Vileplume with a horde of Gloom has set up shop right outside the city. Are you helping with the med center? Or perhaps you're attacking the problem at the source.

6. A strange artifact has been unearthed in the Old City. It appears to be repairable, but you need some supplies only found in a cave known to be infested with powerful wild Pokémon. What do you do?

[somnambulatory]

Oh, bother. Looks like poor Jinxie has lost her forehead charm again and gone off wandering where she shouldn't have. It was probably only a matter of time before she managed to pass out completely, and given her pale complexion and dark rings under her eyes, it would be easy enough to mistake her for a corpse. Even so, as she slowly regains consciousness and blinks herself awake, she shoots up in place as soon as she catches sight of the light glinting off that shiny scalpel Henry is carrying.

"Please don't kill me!"

"Nya-ha-ha, I wasn't going to kill you! I was just going to cut you open and take out all of your organs because I thought you were dead! What are you doing down here anyway? I thought zombies lived in graveyards."

Henry holds his hand to his chine to ponder this, his hand bleeding profusely from a large, fresh cut. It doesn't appear to phase him.

[somnambulatory]

"That would definitely kill me!"

Yeah, that really didn't do much to set her at ease.

"And there shouldn't be any zombies around here... aren't all the dead buried on hallowed ground?"

[holycrows]

"Yep! I even consecrated them myself, so when the living dead do begin to walk the earth again they'll feel the warm loving glow of (ed note -insert evil pokemon god here I'm It work I ain't browsing bulbapedia) as soon as they claw their way out of the ground!"

[somnambulatory]

"What?!"

Whoops, yeah, Jinxie sure did just pass out again after hearing that.

[holycrows]

"Hey!" Henry drops what he was doing (with a thud, as is normal for a corpse) and runs over to Jinxie. "Are you ok? Did someone curse you?"

[somnambulatory]

"Y-you were joking, right? Before... that was a joke. Tell me it was a joke."

She's shaking and shivering like she's just seen the face of death itself.

[holycrows]

"Nya-ha-ha! Of course. I didn't really think you look like a zombie. I was just pulling your leg there."

[somnambulatory]

"I meant about the holy ground..."

Her poor heart can't take this.

[holycrows]

"Why would I be joking? Yveltal is a pretty swell bird thing."

[somnambulatory]

"But Yveltal steals the souls of the living!"

[holycrows]

"Yeppers! Which is good that zombies don't have souls, they won't need to worry about them being stolen."

[somnambulatory]

"But people do have them! Won't they all just die?"

Jinxie begins to nervously look around the room.

[holycrows]

"Well, yeah. But everyone dies. It seems like having an all powerful pokemon kill me would be way cooler than just laying in bed, slowly getting more tired until everything goes all dark. Boooooring."

[somnambulatory]

"But that's what happened before! That's why the world is the way it is now."

Eyes still scanning the room, Jinxie just wants to find a way to get out of here. This is seriously unnerving her.

[holycrows]

"Yeah. Gosh, those people were lucky."

Henry looks at Jinxie for a second and blinks.

"Is something wrong? Are you cold? It's probably all the corpses! We can't let them thaw out and rot. Do you want to go get some coffee in the staff lounge?"

[somnambulatory]

"Yes!"

Okay, probably a lot louder than she was really intending. Jinxie squeaks, covering her mouth with her hands and just nodding back. Maybe once they're out of the room, she can make a break for it.

[holycrows]

"Nyahaha, you sounded like a jigglypuff! Do that again."

Henry begins to walk towards the door, laughing mirthfully.

[somnambulatory]

Jinxie follows along cautiously, looking for a chance to make a break for it.

[holycrows]

Henry walks up to the elevator at the end of the hallway and pushes the button.

"I'm sorry. This thing takes forever. No one ever comes down to this basement so I always have to wait for everyone else to get to their floors."

[somnambulatory]

"Th-that's okay..."

She is going to die down here, and no one will ever find the body.

[holycrows]

A loud grinding sound can be heard before a large clunk. Henry looks at Jinxie nervously.

"Nyahaha, It looks like it broke. We'll need to take the stairs. I think they are over here somewhere. It's only about 4 floors!"

[somnambulatory]

"I-I think I can find my way from here..."

She's shaking like a leaf.

[holycrows]

Henry looks at Jinxie worried.

"Are you sure you're ok? You look really bad now. Are you nauseous? You haven't been poisoned have you?"
