This is an open testrun meme. Posts here may be used in lieu of a sample entry for any applications. For your convenience, we've provided a few prompts, but feel free to make your own!

1) Spring is in the air, and with it, a sudden influx of flying and bug-type Pokémon. Insert bad jokes here.

2) What is with this wacky weather anyway? One end of town, it's blistering hot, the other, it's snowing? And is that a rain cloud following that chap there? Hmm.

3) Mating season Two raging Rhyhorns are butting heads outside of the city, and their mood seems to be washing over the other Pokémon around. Things are going to get nasty if someone doesn't break this up!

4) One of the Bunnelby in the breeding center has been hiding eggs! Oh no! Those poor babies, won't someone please think of the children? Also some of them might be chocolate for some strange reason, we aren't quite sure why.

5) The grass-types are happy that it's spring! A little too happy! We hope you don't have allergies :(

6) Wildcard! Make up your own!

I think pokemon just like sitting on heads.

[ The voice comes from behind, attached to a girl with her hair in a spaghetti and meatballs hairstyle with a tiny little Cleffa sitting right between the buns. She had noticed Absol's constant attempt at shoo'ing the Swablu away and has just decided to step in to see if she can't at least calm the Absol girl down. ]

See? Mine loves sitting on my head. Sometimes, I forget that she's even there I'm so used to it. Isn't that right, Pinky?

[Then she grabs hold of Usagi's ponytails and weighs them in her hands, suspiciously.] A Sylveon...?

Eh?

[ Usagi's a little putt off by the sudden touching of her hair but being called a Sylveon makes it much easier to understand why thos was happening. She laughs in amusement at the idea. ]

No no! I'm not trying to look like a Sylveon! ... although they are really cute. I wouldn't mind having one as a friend some day.

Oh. [Ahem. She drops the ponytails. The Swablu on her head titters.]

Be quiet, you! Anyone could have made that mistake!

No one's ever told me that I look like a Sylveon before! Id usually Meatball head or Dumpling head. I like it!

[ Ah yes. Usagi looks up again at the Swablu in question and just smiles up at it. ]

Hello! You look really comfortable up there.

[Dryly.] He's having the time of his life. Get it off.

But, he's adorable!

[ And like that, she just reaches up to pet the Swablu on the head. There would be no forcing the pokemon off his perch! ]

Is he really bothering you that much?

I am not a perch!

[Sigh.] And I keep trying to tell him that if we get attacked, he'll just make it harder for me to fight...

I think that if you got into a fight that he'd probably try and help you! Or at least get out of the way so you can fight...

[ There's a few more pats to the Swablu's head before Usagi finally pulls her hand away. ]

I think he just wants to be your friend!

Well, friends appear whether you ask for them or not.

[ Although, speaking of which. Usagi holds her hand out to shake. ]

I'm Usagi and this is Pinky.

... what are you doing? [She points at the way Usagi is holding her hand.]

[ At first, Usagi looks confused at the question. Everyone knew what a hand shake was! .... right? ]

Shaking your hand! People do this to greet others and introduce themselves.

I... see. [She hesitates, then extends a hand to take hold of Usagi's.]

I am Absol. I arrived in this city not long ago.

Absol? Like, the pokemon?

[ Usagi just sort of stares incredulously. Not sure if she heard right. ]

Yes, like the Pokemon. Why do humans have so much trouble with that?

You just really like Ab-- [ Before Usagi can finish that statement, Pinky reaches over to smack her human partner on the forehead hard. ] OWWW! WHAT WAS THAT FOR?!

Fa fa cleffa. (Don't mind her. She's just a little slow.)

[Absol sighs and nods understandingly at Pinky. Oh the burdens she must have to bear as a Human Trainer.] Humans are such strange creatures... how do you put up with them?

Fa Cleffa fa clef. (Humans aren't all bad.) Clef cleffa. (But, she's one of the better ones, if not all there.)

.... wait a second. [ Usagi's slowly piecing things together properly now. ] Are you a real Absol?!
