This is an open testrun meme. Posts here may be used in lieu of a sample entry for any applications. For your convenience, we've provided a few prompts, but feel free to make your own!

1) Spring is in the air, and with it, a sudden influx of flying and bug-type Pokémon. Insert bad jokes here.

2) What is with this wacky weather anyway? One end of town, it's blistering hot, the other, it's snowing? And is that a rain cloud following that chap there? Hmm.

3) Mating season Two raging Rhyhorns are butting heads outside of the city, and their mood seems to be washing over the other Pokémon around. Things are going to get nasty if someone doesn't break this up!

4) One of the Bunnelby in the breeding center has been hiding eggs! Oh no! Those poor babies, won't someone please think of the children? Also some of them might be chocolate for some strange reason, we aren't quite sure why.

5) The grass-types are happy that it's spring! A little too happy! We hope you don't have allergies :(

6) Wildcard! Make up your own!

[What one of them comes very close to hitting is this nerd, out on a stroll with his Pokemon (Togepi on ground level and Sigilyph hovering a little way behind (mostly to keep watch)). It's the first one to notice the snowball coming, and raises its wings threateningly-- while Atsuro himself dodges the snowball (his reaction is a little too late and he would've been hit if your balls actually hit). And before he can even say anything his curiosity takes over and he inspects the wall next to him where the snowball hit, and turns to you]

Hey! We're sure having some strange weather today, huh? It was pretty warm when I left the house, but looks like it's snowing here.

[gunned_and_winged]

[This one grins cheerfully at you as if he didn't almost hit you with a snowball, totally oblivious of Sigilyph's menacing stance]

I think the gods are sending us a day of fun! This thing's been following me since this morning.

[at_too_low]

This thing?

[He glances around to try and see what you mean. Meanwhile Sigilyph floats a little closer, as if to shield Atsuro. Just in case.]

[gunned_and_winged]

[He gives Sigilyph a smile. Don't worry, he's harmless. Right now anyway]

The snow!

[Pointing to the cloud above his head. You might notice that since he's stopped moving, it's starting to pile up at his feet too]

[... Oh. Well that's unusual - he'll come a little closer to try and get a closer look at it]

I wonder if it's the work of some Pokemon... I think I remember seeing a mention of Pokemon who could affect weather somewhere...

[He laughs]

It's alright! It didn't hit me, so it's okay. But you should probably be careful with it. Some people might want to pick a fight with you if you do that, or you could scare some kids if you throw snowballs at them.

Aw, don't worry about that.

[Headtilt] And don't kids like snowball fights?

Well, it's one thing to play with your friends, and another when someone you don't know throws one at you. They might think you're bullying them. You've got to think about other people's feelings!

Hm true.

[at_too_low]

[He nods wisely... And then thrusts out his hand in an offering of a handshake]

Anyway, I'm Atsuro Kihara! You can just call me Atsuro.

[His Pokemon get a little closer, too - Sigilyph still with the air of a bodyguard, and Togepi waddles a little closer... and almost smirks at Purrloin. Yo, Dark type.]

[Aww, an egg, how cute! Yeah purrloin isn't exactly intimidated. And neither is Honedge]

Nice to meet you, Kanone! Are you from around here? I don't think I've seen you in the neighbourhood before...

[Togepi isn't too impressed, either. First of all, she's not cute (unless she says so), and second of all, she's only an egg until this nerd here (tap to Atsuro's leg) finally figures out how to make friends with her.]

I do, but I've been out of town a lot. My mother's a Ranger.

[That's awfully tsundere of you, says Purrloin. Why don't you make friends with him if you know how better than him?]

Oh-- do you go on patrols with her? That's really cool!

[Togepi hmphs. Making friends with Pokemon is his job, because he's the trainer, see? It's not her fault he's not learning as well as he should.]

[gunned_and_winged]

Sometimes, yes. And the rest of time I'm busy with work, or visiting a friend.

[So you want senpai to notice you?]

Wow... That sounds really admirable.

[He chuckles a little embarrassedly]

I... mostly fiddle around with tech myself. And help out my... people I live with with chores and stuff.

[What-- no! Togepi actually stomps in agitation. She just wants him to stop being a nerd loser!]

Haha, it's nothing so noble. I'm doing a job I love, it's almost like a hobby.

[Well Purrloin's gonna groom herself. Yep looks like she was totally right]

Where do you work?

[Like hell you were, furball-- Togepi starts, only to be cut off by Sigilyph, who decides this is foolish. He's just going to keep a close eye on Kanone, while Togepi hmphs and waddles off somewhere to do something else. She's mostly okay with Sigilyph but he's kind of a pain sometimes.]

I help out at a bakery not far from the entertainment district. Mostly I just sell the cakes, but sometimes I help with baking the easier ones too.

Oh, I'll be sure to drop by there sometime! Maybe for miss Mari's birthday...

Oh, you have a birthday coming? If you come in a couple of days ahead of time we can make you a custom cake.
