April Testrun

This is an open testrun meme. Posts here may be used in lieu of a sample entry for any applications. For your convenience, we've provided a few prompts, but feel free to make your own!

1) Spring is in the air, and with it, a sudden influx of flying and bug-type Pokémon. Insert bad jokes here.

2) What is with this wacky weather anyway? One end of town, it's blistering hot, the other, it's snowing? And is that a rain cloud following that chap there? Hmm.

3) Mating season Two raging Rhyhorns are butting heads outside of the city, and their mood seems to be washing over the other Pokémon around. Things are going to get nasty if someone doesn't break this up!

4) One of the Bunnelby in the breeding center has been hiding eggs! Oh no! Those poor babies, won't someone please think of the children? Also some of them might be chocolate for some strange reason, we aren't quite sure why.

5) The grass-types are happy that it's spring! A little too happy! We hope you don't have allergies :(

6) Wildcard! Make up your own!

Yeah. It's not a funny joke. Give it to Maki, he'll eat it. He eats everything. [Lea gestures to his Darumaka companion, who looks up at Aqua with chocolate smeared all over his face. One of his eyes is clouded over, as if blind, but he's totally happy.

Robin drops the egg he has off in the nest, then goes to assist the dratini with a cheerful "yip yap" noise]

I don't even know where the chocolate eggs came from.

[ Aqua nods before gently handing it to the Pokemon. Her original intention was to throw it, but she didn't want to accidentally hit the possibly half-blind Pokemon. She'd feel bad. Besides, it didn't take too much extra time. ] It's possible that the Bunnelby took them from someone and thought it'd be fun to hide them as well.

[ Spero greets the help with a tip of his head. He'll loosen the grip on the egg a bit to allow the other Pokemon to grab it. ] How many eggs are left?

[and Maki happily accepts the treat, shoving the whole thing in his cavernous mouth. The Charmeleon just sits there. Judging him.]

Yeah there's nothing fun about this...

[Robin takes the egg, wagging his tail]

Oh crap. I don't know. 15 or 20 or so? It depends on how many the others have found.

[ Spero nods his gratitude to Robin. He can't fulfill his knightly duty if he is too proud to accept help with a thank you!

Aqua ,on the other hand, glances worriedly at Lea. ] Then we might still have quite a few left; I hope we make it in time. Are there any places no one has searched yet?

[ Meanwhile an Oddish fanatically runs into area holding two eggs with his leaves before quickly bounding around the room looking for the nest. All while chatting 'nest' in Pokespeech. ]

Unless that damned rabbit decided to hop between floors... I think the forested area could still be checked a little more thoroughly. Robin!

[Robin accepts the praise from Spero, then turns his attention to Lea]

Go give the forest another once over. Check every hole.

[He nods, then looks at Spero. Two pairs of eyes are better than one, right? C'mon!]

[Maki turns and waves at the oddish. OVER HERE!!]

[ It's hard to believe that this was the work of just one pokemon. ] Was the Pokemon apprehended? [ Who knows, maybe it'd be willing to spill if they were missing any eggs. ]

[ Spero nods and slithers quickly after him. Holes were definitely something that he could do.

Flore the Oddish notices Maki and carefully charges over to where the other eggs were. Once she reaches the nest, she carefully sets down the egg before letting out a sigh of relief. ]
