Salvation Meme!

The holidays are upon Union, bringing an event (and plenty of snow) in their wake...and in the midst of the excitement, some characters may have gifts they wish to give others. That's where this meme comes in!

If you just want to post an OOC list of the Salvation gifts your character got their CR (or their Pokémon, or their CR's Pokémon...), there's an OOC top-level comment for that. If you'd rather surprise someone ICly, however, there's a section for that as well.

[ She's just going to grin. First one to get the other person to kiss them wins. That's the rules she just made up and isn't going to share. ]

[stubborn. She takes a moment, studying your face. So stubborn.

Still. Hand goes up to pat your cheek, and then she's turning and heading towards her vanity.]

Stop being so perfect, woman. It makes Haruka require time to buffer. And then she can't wipe a smirk off her face.

Easing all the way into the room, she shuts the door behind her, making sure it closes with a nice crisp click. Alone, together. Only them.

She thinks, as she heads for the vanity, that they'll come up with a plan they both enjoy. ]

[she takes a seat, removing her earrings and casually keeping her hands busy. She's not going to bother to hide the fact that she's watching you in the mirror, however.]

[ The temptation to clap her hands on Michiru's shoulders is strong enough that Haruka ends up stuffing them into her pockets instead. ] So....unwinding's on the schedule, then?

[she finally looks away from your reflection so she can put the jewelry away]

That depends on what you mean by 'unwinding.'

[ Hm, maybe the game's still on. Haruka flops down onto the bed and crosses her ankles, relaxed as can be. ] Sounds good.

[ "Unwinding" means "hang around doing nothing"! Funny how "nothing" involves tracking Michiru's every movement. ]

[she's taking her sweet time about it, too. Her habit of stealing glances at you in the mirror every so often probably means that she's going to meet your gaze and smile.

And she's looking away, digging an envelope out of one of the drawers, and then walking over to you.]

Here. [sitting at the edge of the bed, she's holding out the aforementioned contract with the landscaping and masonry company.

At least she seems amused by it.]

Eh? [ She's coming closer, yes, but - what?

Oh, right, her Salvation gift. Haruka unfolds the contents, still confused, and gives them a once-over. Why would...

She lets the paper fall, closing her eyes. ] You're cripplingly romantic, y'know.

Did you want a love song?

[ Rarely enough that Haruka gets a lump in her throat. Great, she started this, didn't she. Now they're using the word, which is hackneyed and overdone and forbidden on nineties prime-time TV.

But she also can't deny the wave of affection that hits her when she hears it, so she opens her eyes back up and smiles. ] Maybe if you were playing it.

[ She gives up. Come here. ]

[that's a fond look you're getting, in response to that smile.]

I suppose I ought to remember it for next time.

[she hasn't moved yet, but she's holding out her hand to you]

[ Haruka sits up enough to take that hand. Their fingers interlace, their palms touch...she smiles...

...and begins slowly trying to reel Michiru in towards the bed. It's comfortable down here. ]

[that is not something she'll offer resistance to, no. She's half on top of you, legs still over the edge of the bed, before she's close enough to lean in for a kiss.]

[ Beautifully orchestrated, mademoiselle. Haruka arches up to complete the journey, holding that hand very tightly. Haruka likes her present. What it stands for. That she has somebody comfortable enough to make on-point jokes at her expense.

Feelings are weird, but she's not complaining. Michiru gets her. That's the best gift. ]

[that's a squeeze of her hand in response. And she's pulling back just enough to see your eyes.

The softness in her gaze and the fondness in her smile probably have nothing on the almost casual way she said that word.

Good to see you. [ We only save "yo" for weeks apart in dream worlds here at Haruka Tenoh, Inc. Plus, she's a bit dazzled by Michiru at this close range, when they're both feeling this way.

She stays right where she is, soaking in the moment. ]

[that's a quiet laugh, and she's leaning in for a slow kiss.

It's been a good year, hasn't it?]

[ That it has. Haruka's return kiss intends to ring in the new one properly, as well. ]

[mm. That's definitely a smile as she leans in, sinking down. Her hold on your hand is as tight as ever, even as she's using a free hand to brush her hair behind an ear.]

[ If we're leaning in this direction, Haruka will begin descending back onto the mattress herself. Nice and slow for Michiru. That way they can both concentrate on other matters.

Wherever you want your legs to end up, she'll oblige. ]

[just before she finally comes to a stop atop of you, she pulls back, moving her legs to straddle you.

That's a sly smile, and then she's moving in again.]

[ ...Well, hello. Haruka feels a flush creep up her neck.

From the eagerness when their lips meet, though, she likes this arrangement. ] Always graceful.
