Testrun meme (January & February)

TESTRUN MEME
1) New Years Celebration! There are fireworks all over the city! And that means your Pokémon are probably hiding under the bed. No matter how big they are. What do?
2) There's been some heavy snowfall and the connecting bridges are overloaded. They're really slick and icy and need to be plowed for safety. You and your Pokémon have been selected for this "honor". Have fun!
3) With the winter coming, the Hot Springs have been overwhelmed by an abundance of monkey Pokémon. They've been attacking citizens who are trying to soak in the pools and it's creating a big problem. Go resolve it!
4) Caldera has been working on a project to restore some of their fortifications, and that means they need strong trainers and Pokémon to help carry and work the stone and metal. Time to help out!
5) The Tropical Island has become something of a destination in the wintertime, and it's getting really crowded. Some Pokémon researchers need to conduct studies on the volcano but the throng of tourists is simply too much. Help clear a path!
6) Wildcard! Make your own prompt!
A
It's easy for someone with even normal human senses to hear the commotion and sudden burst of flame around one of the nearby rockwall-like partitions scattered around the area, until a lithe-looking Mankey comes bolting around around rock like something straight out of the furthest reaches of hell, a silver pocket watch clutched firmly in its paws, with Shinjiro in hot pursuit.] Hey! [He's scrambling barefoot and shirtless across the across the uneven ground and through the billowing steam with a towel wrapped haphazardly around his waist as he picks up a small rock and flings it in the Pokémon's direction.]

She looks up at the commotion, a huge blush covering her cheeks, and creeping down to her neck, chest and other parts as she realizes just who has come crashing into her private relaxation time. It could be worse, but she's not exactly sure.
Instead of screaming, she takes a deep breath and uses one of her ice skills to freeze the two Mankey and Shinjiro as well. She is so not sorry.]
Aragaki, what are you doing here?
no subject
Perhaps if he hadn't been so focused on chasing the damn monkey (at least she got the son of a bitch too while she was at it, so longas it hasn't damaged his watch), he might have noticed her before this happened. Shit, he hates being cold. His body temperature fluctuates enough on its own without Mitsuru trying to freeze his balls off and turn him into a eunuch. It takes him a few seconds to get his bearings before using his fire affinity to slowly thaw himself out icy confines, and turning the ice into small clouds of steam with flickers of ember.
The hell did she have to go and do that for, anyway?]
What d'you think? Probably the same reason you're here for.
[About the only time he can stand submerging himself in water completely is when it's hot.]

A part of her remembers that his typing is partially fire, so she doesn't feel at all guilty or sorry for having caught him in the winter grasp she set out for the Mankeys. Instead, she pries the corner of her towel that the one had a hold of and wraps it tighter around her curvy figure.]
I see that you've managed to have a run in with one of the residents of the springs as well.
[She slips back into her pool, where her Bulbasaur is still sitting happily.]
Saur. Bulbasaur.
No, he will be fine. Look.
no subject
To her statement, he only nods, eyes drifting over to the Bulbasaur for a few short seconds. Cute little guy.]
Yeah.
[He'll be fine.
Though it takes him a little longer to thaw completely—and he still feels pretty damn cold even after—and knows better than to expect a full-fledged apology so doesn't press the situation. Not going to start a fight over some stupid shit he ain't going to get anything out of. He shakes some of the remaining ice crystals out of his hair as he walks towards the thief in question, lowering himself onto his heels as he pries his pocket watch out of the Mankey's tight grip. He encases his other hand in flame to start to free the Pokémon from the ice. The Mankey might deserve to be on ice for as long as it takes him to thaw out of it himself, but Shinjiro doesn't much like the idea of just leaving him there, even as a temporary decoration.]
Thought he'd steal my watch when he thought I wasn't looking.
no subject
However, when he says what the Mankey was trying to steal, she frowns.]
It stole your pocket watch? [She might not know the ultimate significance behind it, but it was important to him and rather old.] Then I apologize.
no subject
[He continues to thaw the Mankey out, chunks of ice dissolving into water and steam.]
Wish they'd just stick to stealing worthless coins and shit.
[He raises an eyebrow though, at the other frozen one.]
That one try to steal something from you?
no subject
Taking money or trinkets would certainly be more preferable.
[She cuts a dirty look at the still frozen Pokémon and sniffs disdainfully.]
My towel.
no subject
[Within another few seconds, the ice surrounding the Mankey has completely evaporated, and it has better sense than to stay, bolting away before Shinjiro can so much as send it off with a gruff word of warning. He watches it go, frowning.
What the hell would a Mankey want a towel for?]
You caught a pretty dumb one then.
no subject
[Shinjiro's Mankey seems much smarter than the one she's imprisoned. Her Bulbasaur just sits in the water still, his vines resting comfortably in the water. He's barely acknowledges the humans there, hating the cold weather.]
I don't know if I would call it dumb. Perverted is more like it.
