TESTRUN MEME

1) New Years Celebration! There are fireworks all over the city! And that means your Pokémon are probably hiding under the bed. No matter how big they are. What do?

2) There's been some heavy snowfall and the connecting bridges are overloaded. They're really slick and icy and need to be plowed for safety. You and your Pokémon have been selected for this "honor". Have fun!

3) With the winter coming, the Hot Springs have been overwhelmed by an abundance of monkey Pokémon. They've been attacking citizens who are trying to soak in the pools and it's creating a big problem. Go resolve it!

4) Caldera has been working on a project to restore some of their fortifications, and that means they need strong trainers and Pokémon to help carry and work the stone and metal. Time to help out!

5) The Tropical Island has become something of a destination in the wintertime, and it's getting really crowded. Some Pokémon researchers need to conduct studies on the volcano but the throng of tourists is simply too much. Help clear a path!

Or, there was also the possibility that the strange boy might be completely safe-- Mako wasn't paying attention to any signs when she leaped into the springs. So long as it was warm, she didn't care either. For all either of them knew, this may have just been the Men's side.

Mako herself looked up when she heard the boy's voice, and offered him a bright smile.

"It's pretty cold out, huh?"

Good - nothing's being thrown at him, must be a unisex bath. Sinbad settles down next to her and nodded. "I agree, I'm not sure if I can ever get used to the cold weather." He then smiles at her, canting his head.

"But I think it doesn't feel quite as cold when around someone with such a cute, warm smile."

"It's never as cold when you're with people who are nice to you."

The smile remained unfailing in her eyes-- if that was an attempt at flirtation, it was far from any that she would have understood. In her eyes, this was just two strangers meeting in the cold.

"It's very warm where I'm from too, but change is nice. You can meet lots of new people and see lots of cool things, like this place."

Darn. It didn't work - guess he'll have to work on that one. But no matter, she seems nice enough and they at least got a hatred of the cold in common! "Having people close to you does make the bad things seem less, doesn't it?"

The grin - which briefly faltered at the failure of the pick up line cracks wide again, eyes bright. "Exactly, it's why I came to Union! There's so many things you can see that exist no where else. And there's things I want to bring here that they hadn't seen before."

She didn't even notice the grin falter for a moment-- after all, she had just met a really nice new friend!

"You too?" She asked, suddenly so eager that she was on her feet and wading closer to the boy. "There's gotta be something nice here, if everyone I've met from here looks so happy. I want to see what it is!"
