TESTRUN MEME

1) New Years Celebration! There are fireworks all over the city! And that means your Pokémon are probably hiding under the bed. No matter how big they are. What do?

2) There's been some heavy snowfall and the connecting bridges are overloaded. They're really slick and icy and need to be plowed for safety. You and your Pokémon have been selected for this "honor". Have fun!

3) With the winter coming, the Hot Springs have been overwhelmed by an abundance of monkey Pokémon. They've been attacking citizens who are trying to soak in the pools and it's creating a big problem. Go resolve it!

4) Caldera has been working on a project to restore some of their fortifications, and that means they need strong trainers and Pokémon to help carry and work the stone and metal. Time to help out!

5) The Tropical Island has become something of a destination in the wintertime, and it's getting really crowded. Some Pokémon researchers need to conduct studies on the volcano but the throng of tourists is simply too much. Help clear a path!

[A little girl, missing one eye and wearing dark, though rather luxurious, if faded garments is at the scene, taking care of the Hot Springs trouble fairly well. There's a fish bone decorating one of her pigtails and the girl taps at it as she 'speaks'.]

Yes, I agree, Princess. A good night's sleep is just what those irritable Mankeys need.

[Mikotsu is in no danger. The attacks Mankeys swipes at her just seem to... phase right through her body. She raises a handat the aggressive Mankeys, one by one, as she approaches them or as they jump out at her. Using Hypnosis, she puts them to sleep one by one, without much aid to her Pokemon. Of course, some of the Mankeys that she put to sleep were already taking a bath, meaning... well, that would be rather dangerous for them.]

Perhaps once this is over, we should also take a dip, hm? Ah, but you're not fond of the heat, are you... Hohoh, I'd love to relax these old bones.

[The Tropical Island. This place reminded her a little bit more of home back in the Archipelago. Though this was her vacation, Mikotsu seemed hard at work, combing through the sands of the beach. She looks flustered, a rare sight to those that might know her.

She's looking for something. Coincidentally, the fish bone in her hair is missing.]

[He remembered seeing this young woman when Parthevia last had visitors from out of country, but being a peasant boy, he never gotten a chance to do more then look. Sinbad never much cared for that division, and it seemed like she was distressed]

Miss, is something wrong?

[Mikotsu looks up at Sinbad, stopping her search. Her mouth remains agape, but no sound comes out. She looks down, biting at her lip, not entirely sure what to do in this situation. Should she ask for help? Finding her treasured item would only take too long for one person.]

[He frowns slightly as she glances down]

Is there anything I can do to help? I'd hate to see a cute girl be sad like that.

[The voice that comes out of Mikotsu's mouth is definitely not cute. It sounds strained and parched, but she stops midway and decides, hm.

She pulls up her left sleeve and starts drawing in the sand, making curves and dashes of lines with her index finger. In time, her hand withdraws from the sand and Sinbad can see a cartoon of a fish skeleton.]

[He blinks in surprised at the rough voice. Guess she never got a chance to speak much? That seems kind of sad if that's true]

A fish... bones? Is it some kind of charm?

[He questioned as he kneels, examining the drawing - it would be odd if she were looking for literal fishbones]

[She nods. Sure it was a charm. She had an affinity for the dead and assisted often with the sending rituals of the Blue Sea Clan. It was a precious gift.

Mikotsu stands up and wanders around, looking for it again. Though now and then, she peeks over at Sinbad to see how he'll react. Whether he'll just leave her here or not.]

[He calls out, and soon a Dratini slithers over]

Since you're a faster swimmer then I am, how about you go in the tides, and see if this fishbone charm got carried out. While you do that, I'll be searching the sands, okay?

[The Dratini looks at the drawing, then at his human in confusion - then at the girl... and seemed to sigh before nodding]

[Oh. Oh, she hadn't considered that. She hadn't considered that the fishbone charm could have gone out into the sea. Actually, she wished her damnest that it wouldn't have made it there... then searching for it would be nigh impossible.

As if on impulse, she starts running over toward the waters, stumbling in her steps. The possibility hadn't surfaced. But what if.]
