This is an open testrun meme. Posts here may be used in lieu of a sample entry for any applications. For your convenience, we've provided a few prompts, but feel free to make your own!

1. A Wild Pokémon appears! But not just any Pokémon; this one is different. Bigger. Stronger. Angrier. More bizarre? This can be anything from an Aggron to a Lickilicky but consider it fully evolved, big, and not something you can handle alone.

2. Spring cleaning! Who left all these flowers around everywhere? In the aftermath of what happened in April, the town needs to be thoroughly cleared of vegetation and debris. It will require a group effort. Your Bugs might be a little distracted though.

3. The fresh water in Union is getting low! It seems like Bidoof have dammed off the streams in the forest that provide Union with its fresh water. What do you do? Murder the Bidoof? Dig a new waterway right next to Union? Capitalize on the shortage and sell bottled water produced by your Water types?

4. You're in the depths of the Old City exploring and you just dropped your only source of light into a bottomless abyss. Whoops. Hopefully, you're not alone, right? ...If you are alone, perhaps it would be a good idea to call for a rescue.

5. A Grimer and a Trubbish are fighting in the middle of Union! It's so disgusting that you can't even get close. Do you rush in to break it up? Push someone else to do it? Take bets on who will win? Run away and gossip with your friends about the deplorable state of Union nowdays and how much better Gigas probably is?

6. Wildcard! Make up your own!

[ Robin is with Bats the Zubat and Nightwing the Murkrow trying to take down what seemed to be a very disturbed Golem.

Sadly he doesn't have the type advantage. At all. But he's trying so care to assist him? Or just watch him get nearly run over by a rollout attack either works. ]

[ Really Bidoofs? You couldn't find someplace else to build your dam?

Dick is in the forest trying to figure out if there could possibly be some alternative to this problem that the Bidoofs are causing. He's already tried speaking to them through his warp band, getting Robin the Fletchling to try to talk to them, aggravate them, and so on and so forth.

None of it seems to be working. To put it simply: so not feeling the aster.

But anyone is welcome to come and brainstorm with him. Or he might just notice your character trying to do something. ]

[ Wild card because I cannot think of anything! Specify whether you want it to be Dick or Robin unless you want me to choose. You're welcome to pick one of the prompts I didn't write something for I was just lazy. ]

This is perfect!~

[Did someone say capitalize? Rutee is positive someone say the word money and when there is fast cash to be made there is Rutee Katrea. She couldn't thank these Bidoofs more for building their little home, giving her the perfect chance for another get-rich-quick scheme. She'll have to test it out, of course, if all goes well she'll be back here with more supplies.

Her and her Meowth seem to be gathering bottles upon bottles of water, a reasonable number to carry.

The Pokemon gives a tired meow.. mostly out of laziness. He'd rather be taking a catnap.] If you would just learn Pay Day we wouldn't have to worry about money! Come on, help me, would ya?

(ooc: guessing he could notice her~ I know Meowth isn't on the map yet but for the sake of the test drive.)

[ It was Robin the Fletchling that noticed the girl before Dick. After getting his trainer's attention said trainer glanced over and rose an eyebrow.

Although he already had an idea of what she was planning with what the Bidoofs and the dam he still strolled over to ask. ]

What are you doing?

[Rutee hums to herself before taking the time to notice him, feeling a chill go down her spin at the sight of another person. Obviously, this woman is up to something.]

Me? Oh I'm-- [What if this is some goodie-goodie here to ruin her profits?] -working! Yes, testing the water for these poor Bidoofs.. Wild-life protection committee, you know

[A little lying here and there never hurt nobody.]

[ As much as Dick would want to snark and call her out on it he had a personal to uphold. He gave her a look of disbelief appeared on his face for a moment before he walked over to her, careful not to get his school uniform dirty. ]

Really? So how is the water?

[ If he's going to catch her he'll try and do it more subtly. The water should be perfectly fine. After all, why would they move their dams here if it wasn't. ]

That's what the sample is for, young man. [Put on the charms, Rutee. Sound chipper then your usual self and pile it on like sugar.]

Don't worry your handsome little face about a single thing, Jingles and I have it covered. [Referring to her Meowth -- Jingles, get it? Like the beautiful sound of profit.]

[ Dick pulled out a small smile. ]

Oh! So you're going back to the laboratories to diagnosed them there. But I thought the transport bottles were different.

[ Nope not moving along instead going to be a smartass. ]

You really should be letting the Rangers handle this.

[Of all the things he could be doing right now, it had to be unblocking a dumb Bidoof dam? He could be out on a real scoutie with the others, doing reckless things if it weren't for the city's stupid water supply. He takes an arrow out of his quiver and ties something from his Ranger kit onto the tip.]

Watch out.

Didn't know how long they would take.

[ Not that he doesn't have faith in the Rangers but there are some things that you shouldn't wait on. Like Pokemon blocking your water supply.

But regardless he listens and backs up a few steps as Robin perches on his shoulder to watch as well. ]

What are you doing?

[Chester taps the little orb now on the tip of his arrow.]

It's a small capsule... like a pill. We fill them with sleeping powder. Once I shoot it at the dam, most of the Bidoof will go to sleep and we can drag them down to the lake and destroy the dam.

[He didn't feel like explaining it, but shooting arrows at Pokemon usually gets bad reactions from civillians so he wanted to be clear. No Pokemon were harmed in the making of this educational lesson.]

We do it every year, just about.

[ Dick frowns a little. Sounds harmless but if they're coming back every year it's not been a permanent way to do things. ]

Is it normally this bad? This is the first I've heard of this happen.

We usually get it earlier than this, but we were more focused on keeping Pokemon out of the broken walls.

[He fires the arrow, and in a burst of purple smoke the dam is filled with spores.]

So people heard about it before the Rangers could take action.

[ He watches the arrow and purple smoke fill the dam ]

How long until it takes effect?

[Honestly? It was tempting to just hang back and enjoy the show...]

Having some trouble?

[A young girl with a Kedabra by her side called out from a relatively safe distance back.]

[ Robin was in the middle of dodging yet another Rollout attack when he heard the girl call out. After a successful dodge he threw a quick glance over before he focused back on the Pokemon in front of him. ]

Just a little!

[ By which he means a lot. Two flying types versus a Ground/Rock type does not bode well. Bats and Nightwing's attack have been doing virtually nothing to the Golem and Robin had just been trying to keep the Golem busy so it didn't attack his Pokemon. ]

[Wow. This guy could move. He'd be doing pretty alright if it weren't for the fact that he was obviously completely outmatched.]

[Zatanna took a quick look at his two pokemon. They were flying types. Hmm. She glanced behind her; Gio was a psychic type. Which means, so long as he stuck first, he should be alright. But if the attack wasn't very effective, and the poor thing was left to the mercy of a Ground's strong attack....]

Go on, Gio. See what you can do.

[The Kadabra stepped forward.]

Try Confusion.

[ The Confusion does more damage to the Golem than all of Robin's Pokemons' attacks have done combined. It wasn't enough to completely take it out but Robin takes this as a chance while the Golem recovers from the sudden attack. ]

Bats, make sure it's confused with Supersonic!

[ The Bat Pokemon unleashed the sonic waves. If it wasn't confused by confusion it was definitely confused now and left wide open to another attack. ]

[Progress. She, too, didn't bother waiting for the opponent to recover from the double-attack before adding a third:]

Gio! Follow it up with Psybeam, now!

[justbewhelmed]

[ The Psybeam hit it directly. The Golem rolled backwards from the force of the attack a few feet. ]

Drive it away with Pursuit!

[ It was directed towards Nightwing. Albeit not very effective the pursuit seemed to have been the last straw for the Golem as it began to finally retreat.

But not before one desperate act as it unleashed a Magnitude on everyone on the ground. ]

Hey! Unless you're trying for a skinnier look by getting flattened, you might wanna get out of there! Golem's too strong for that to work!

[Peter, his Trapinch alongside him, was calling from the roof of a nearby building.]

Ugh!

[ Robin manages to dive out of the way of the Golem and jumping back enough so there is enough space between it and the rampaging Pokemon. ]

Well, I can't just leave it here! It'll just continue to rampage!

You're not exactly slowing it down any, buddy. At this rate you guys're gonna get curbstomped and he's gonna be even more amped up.

I'm not saying leave, just pull off for a bit and help me come up with a better plan of attack.

[justbewhelmed]

No, but at least it hasn't gone off to rampage elsewhere.

[ But despite that response he listens and pulls back quickly making his way over so they can plan said attack. ]

All right. Any ideas?

[ He does have one after glancing at what Pokemon he has out but he's curious to know if Peter had any ideas first ]

[Peter crossed his arms, thinking for a bit]

Amanda can dig a hole down to the Old City. If I remember the layout right, it should be just enough of a drop from this part of town to knock Golem out.

You and your Pokemon keep him off balance, guide him towards the hole, and my type advantage should give me enough of a boost to push him into it with Mach Punch. Any questions?

[ Robin listens with a growing smirk. Good, the majority of the plan Peter had in mind was something he had in mind himself. ]

Nope.

[ And that was it. All he says before he just runs off to start the plan. ]
