This is an open testrun meme. Posts here may be used in lieu of a sample entry for any applications. For your convenience, we've provided a few prompts, but feel free to make your own!

1) Spring is in the air, and with it, a sudden influx of flying and bug-type Pokémon. Insert bad jokes here.

2) What is with this wacky weather anyway? One end of town, it's blistering hot, the other, it's snowing? And is that a rain cloud following that chap there? Hmm.

3) Mating season Two raging Rhyhorns are butting heads outside of the city, and their mood seems to be washing over the other Pokémon around. Things are going to get nasty if someone doesn't break this up!

4) One of the Bunnelby in the breeding center has been hiding eggs! Oh no! Those poor babies, won't someone please think of the children? Also some of them might be chocolate for some strange reason, we aren't quite sure why.

5) The grass-types are happy that it's spring! A little too happy! We hope you don't have allergies :(

6) Wildcard! Make up your own!

[ Aqua wasn't quite sure how she had gotten roped into helping find eggs in the breeding center, but she didn't mind. It was nice to be of help. Her Dratini was dedicated to the cause as well. He had found a good vantage point by wrapping part of his body around her waist and jolting the rest of himself up. With keen eyes, he keeps shifting his head to get a better view. Aqua, on the other hand, takes a more practical approach. To the nearest person; ]

Excuse me, have you seen any Pokemon eggs around. They've been hidden by a Bunnelby.

[ Aqua had just arrived at the Union, but she tried not to look as lost as she felt. It was easy to get lost in a crowd. Dratini made an effort to keep as close to her feet as he could; not realizing the rest of his body could cause someone to trip. Aqua is trying her best to prevent that; whenever someone gets close to the tail she'll speak up. ]

Be sure to watch for the tail. It'd be bad if you tripped. [ though... she might not make it in time if someone isn't watching themselves at all. ]

[one of the harried workers at the breeding center with the most intense shock of red hair imaginable turns to face her when she addresses him.

His arms are full of eggs. He's a little short, just because he's obviously stressed]

Yeah, yeah. I'm aware. If you find any, bring them back to the incubation rooms right away. Some of these eggs may die if they get too cold.

[to that end, there's a small "nest" of eggs that Lea has made nearby, being guarded by the warmth of his darumaka and charmeleon. Said darumaka is shoving a chocolate egg in his face and making a huge mess] Ugh... damn rabbits.

[ That did sound pretty bad. She wasn't going to let any of them die. Her Dratini squeaks as he notices an egg in the near distance. ]

I won't let that happen. [as she hurries to get the egg. ] Do you think it would be possible to turn up the temperature of the Center? Just a tad so the eggs won't get freeze so quickly. [ Not enough to make the other pokemon uncomfortable but... this was a important. ]

[he brushes past her to deposit the eggs in the nest with the fire pokemon] If I could do that, I would have already done it. But the temperature in here is tightly controlled for each floor. I haven't got the clearance to mess with it.

[A zorua trots out of the nearby bushes with a small egg in his mouth. Using his natural talent for finding eggs (to eat, usually), Robin's found most of the eggs that Lea is currently looking after]

[ well, that was a shame. This was quite the emergency, after all. Aqua frowns as she reaches for the egg only to squash it when she gets a firm grasp on it. ]

Oh n- [ hold on a second, she knew this smell. Chocolate? ] Is this someones idea of a joke? [ She was good at staying calm, but this did tick her off a bit. This wasn't funny in the slightly.

Dratini, on the other hand, had found another egg and proceeded to wrap his tail around it and carefully attempt to bring it over to the nest. It was a lot harder without paws or when you didn't use your mouth to carry things quite often. ]

Yeah. It's not a funny joke. Give it to Maki, he'll eat it. He eats everything. [Lea gestures to his Darumaka companion, who looks up at Aqua with chocolate smeared all over his face. One of his eyes is clouded over, as if blind, but he's totally happy.

Robin drops the egg he has off in the nest, then goes to assist the dratini with a cheerful "yip yap" noise]

I don't even know where the chocolate eggs came from.

[ Aqua nods before gently handing it to the Pokemon. Her original intention was to throw it, but she didn't want to accidentally hit the possibly half-blind Pokemon. She'd feel bad. Besides, it didn't take too much extra time. ] It's possible that the Bunnelby took them from someone and thought it'd be fun to hide them as well.

[ Spero greets the help with a tip of his head. He'll loosen the grip on the egg a bit to allow the other Pokemon to grab it. ] How many eggs are left?

[and Maki happily accepts the treat, shoving the whole thing in his cavernous mouth. The Charmeleon just sits there. Judging him.]

Yeah there's nothing fun about this...

[Robin takes the egg, wagging his tail]

Oh crap. I don't know. 15 or 20 or so? It depends on how many the others have found.

[hopefinder]

[ Spero nods his gratitude to Robin. He can't fulfill his knightly duty if he is too proud to accept help with a thank you!

Aqua ,on the other hand, glances worriedly at Lea. ] Then we might still have quite a few left; I hope we make it in time. Are there any places no one has searched yet?

[ Meanwhile an Oddish fanatically runs into area holding two eggs with his leaves before quickly bounding around the room looking for the nest. All while chatting 'nest' in Pokespeech. ]

Unless that damned rabbit decided to hop between floors... I think the forested area could still be checked a little more thoroughly. Robin!

[Robin accepts the praise from Spero, then turns his attention to Lea]

Go give the forest another once over. Check every hole.

[He nods, then looks at Spero. Two pairs of eyes are better than one, right? C'mon!]

[Maki turns and waves at the oddish. OVER HERE!!]

[ Pinky the Cleffa is currently strolling around the street, having been bored of her usual perch ontop of her human partners head. She's not too far from Usagi -- she can clearly see that unique style of hers from anywhere within the area.

Pinky's currently looking for something entertaining, when her tiny little eyes catch the Dratini that's sticking close to his partner. They wouldn't have been as interesting to look at if she hadn't noticed that there was a stall coming straight for the Dratini's tail.

So, what does she do? Take after one of her human's traits and hops forward to pick up the tail so that it doesn't get smashed in the process all the while just barely evading getting run over herself. ]

Fa! (Safe!)

[ Spero the Dratini almost jumped when his tail was suddenly grabbed. He turns quickly to see the Cleffa almost get run over by the cart. ]

Breeu? ( Did you save my tail? ) [ The noise that the two Pokemon are making is what catches Aqua's attention. She wasn't from the Union, so this was the first time that she had encountered a Cleffa upfront. ]

A pink Pokemon? Whose is it?

Clef cleffa. (I did! I hope that's okay.) [ Pinky just smiles happily, setting down the tail gently so as not to get to much dirt on it.

She then looks up at Aqua's curious gaze and then bows in greeting.

Meanwhile, in another part of the area, Usagi's finally done with a bit of her window shopping and starts calling for her pokemon upon noticing that it wasn't anywhere in the near vicinity. ]

Pinky? Pinky, where are you?

[hopefinder]

Nii, Breuu! ( Of course, that would have been bad! ) [ Once Spero's tail is set down, he wraps it around Aqua's leg out of the way. Aqua smiles when the Cleffa bows; this Pokemon was well-behaved. One she returns the greeting, she crouches down to get more leveled with the small Pokemon. ]

Do you know where your trainer is? She could be looking for you.

[ Before the pokemon can make any kind of noise to answer Aqua's question, Usagi finally walks up in her search. ]

Ah! There you are, Pinky! [ Pinky turns around once she hears her human partners' voice and then immediately bounds for her. Usagi picks her up in one scoop and holds Pinky to her chest with an apologetic smile to Aqua. ]

I hope Pinky wasn't bothering you. She kind of likes to walk around when I'm shopping.

[ Aqua simply shakes her head. ]

Actually, I'm grateful. She saved my Dratini's tail from being squashed. [ Spero nods in agreement before bowing his head in complete gratitude. Having a squashed tail sounded painful. ]

She did? D'awww, you're such a great Cleffa.

[ Usagi just grins proudly and reaches up to ruffle the fluff that's at the top of Pinky's head. Pinky looks quite pleased that it's getting recognition for its hard work, but really, it just likes the pets. ]

It's a good thing she saved that tail! I've seen pokemon who've had their tails hurt by people walking on them and it doesn't look fun at all.

[ Oh, the Pokemon was a Cleffa. She'll have to remember that. ]

It can be pretty bad sometimes. Spero hasn't gotten used to his current length yet, so he tends to get almost stepped on quite a bit. [ The Dratini flusters before wrapping himself around Aqua in shame. ]

Really? I think being able to get bigger is amazing! It means he's easier to hug and pet!

[ Usagi just smiles over at Spero, hoping that her truthful words would at least make him feel a little better. ]

Pinky hasn't really gotten much bigger since I met her. I think she'll only get bigger whenever she grows to be a Clefairy.

[ Pinky gets a nice little pat on the head, and in response seems to coo happily at the attention. ]

But then, you'll be so big you won't be able to fit on my head anymore!

[ Nevermind. Pinky is absolutely against that idea and immediately uses Usagi's hair as a rope to get back to her usual spot onto of Usagi's head. ]

/SLAMS SELF INTO THIS WITH A WILD WILD WILDCARD

[ Roxas was out talking a small walk in Union today. Accompanying him was his Sylveon, Poliwag, and Sandile. He's gotten better at making sure the two baby Pokemon don't run off on their own but it's still a work in progress.

For example Naveen the Poliwag thought it would be a great idea to run ahead. And where did the Poliwag run to? Right into the Dratini's tail. He trips and lands on its belly... face... front. ]

[hopefinder]

[ oh! That looked like it hurt. Spero the Dratini flails as he attempts to check whether or not the Poliwag is okay. Meanwhile, Aqua will take action and pick the Poliwag up and cradle it. ]

That looked like it hurt. Are you okay? [ Whose Poliwag was this anyways? While Aqua is doing that, Spero will attempt to find the owner. aka he'll be frantically looking around with wide eyes.]

[meguriau]

[ Naveen tries to look bold and brave like it didn't hurt at all! But its eyes say otherwise as they're tearing up. No matter how bold and brave he wants to be he's still just a baby.

Meanwhile Roxas notices the disappearance of his Poliwag and has backtracked to find him. Though it's Sora the Sylveon that notices and starts tugging Roxas over to meet with Aqua and Spero. ]

[ aw, poor thing. Aqua will gently rub the spot that he fell. ] I think you'll be fine, you're strong. You shouldn't run so fast though, especially if you aren't watching where you're going.

[ Spero notices Sora and Roxas and lets out a 'huff' noise before quickly slithering over to meet this. ]

[meguriau]

[ Naveen likes the rubbing and takes a moment to enjoy it before responding to Aqua with a small croak. Yeah yeah he'll watch where he's going next time!

Roxas notices the Dratini though Sora and Louis are the ones to stop and say hello. Roxas keeps on going to Aqua. ]

Ah, there you are...

[ Directing it towards Naveen. ]

[ Oh boys, you're in the same in Pokemon form. Once Roxas reaches her though, she turns to him with a smile. ]

Is he yours? [ Spero nods in meeting to the two other pokemon. He is the hero that punishes victims with his tail. Hi there! ]
