Test run meme!

This meme is for people to test out new characters in the Brave New World setting! All threads within this meme can be used for the application sample requirements, a thread with one character with at least 10 comments from your character can be used in place of a first person sample, and two threads with two different characters with at least 10 comments from your character can be used in place of a third person sample. Both samples may be negated in this fashion. Here are a few prompts, feel free to make your own if need be! Have fun!

1. A Wild Pokémon appears! But not just any Pokémon, this one is different. Bigger. Stronger. Angrier. More bizarre? This can be anything from an Aggron to a Lickilicky but it should be fully evolved, big, and not something you can handle alone.

2. You and your fellow trainers have discovered a peaceful field that looks like a sanctuary for Grass Pokémon. Do they leave it in peace, observe, or aggressively Befriend everything?

3. The Old City is spitting up tons of Grimer that are infesting Union. It's nasty and there is panic (and slime) in the streets! What do you do?

4. The Habitat Tower is desperately in need of help for taking care of Fire Pokemon - they need volunteers! You've been provided with some oven mitts. Good luck!

5. Oh god there's a swarm of angry Pokémon and they're all bearing down on you run away!

6. You just passed through a cave and found something marvelous. Perhaps it's a room full of brilliant crystal formations. Perhaps it's a cove to a secluded beach. Perhaps it's a large pre-war mansion buried underground but still mostly intact. What is it and what do you do?

They'd never leave ya alone. But it's alright, I just gotta keep movin'. They won't ever figure out why they need ta stop.

[It was probably weird to see Marisa actually helping out too, trying to at least show she wasn't just a random guest that came and went. If she knew Reimu was lonely, she might have found a way to stay and actually tried to get the right to stay away from her father.

She spotted the bandage but knew better then the pry. She'd just pay attention and do what she was going to do next.]

I should be good for a while so if anythin' pops up, Let me know and I'll come with. We can take the problem out before the others get there like always ze!

[Well one of these days Reimu might actually admit to that. Maybe. Possibly. Who knows. For now she just finishes her tea and nods, smiling.]

Of course. Like I would leave you out.

[She starts to stand up.]

I'm going to go make some more tea. Do you want some?

[Marisa just grins widely. There are times she felt she might be not told but most of it is her just being silly. She nods to the tea part, starting to get up herself.]

Sure, Ya want some help with it?

[Grabbing the shoulder strap of her bag as well.]

If not, where do ya want me ta put my backpack?

[It's not like Reimu doesn't appreciate the help. Powerful as she was, she'd realized long ago there were limits to what she could do on her own, as galling as it could be to admit sometimes, and even if that weren't the case it made things easier, which appealed to her inherent laziness. They made a pretty good team too.

She shook her head as they entered the shrine.]

It's fine. You can just put your stuff in the guest room like usual.

[With that, she headed for the kitchen to make the tea. Marisa had been to her house enough times to know where to go.]

[That they did. Reimu being around tended to balance out Marisa's impulsive moves and the girl could see it. If she did something to Reimu, she wasn't privy to it. There was a reason she didn't tend to go on missions without Reimu, Marisa tended to get in over her head and barely make it out.]

Alright I'll toss it in there.

[Marisa makes her way to the guest room and tosses her backpack and hat on the bed before making her way to the kitchen]

So ya been gettin' many people up here for things other then stuff goin' on?

[Reimu was still brewing the tea when Marisa came back from the guest room.]

Nope. Not too many visitors, at least other than the old man. [By the "old man," she meant Genji, the old shifter priest who was her unofficial guardian and mostly only came by these days to make sure she was taking care of herself alright.]

((Yeah, I haven't decided what turtle pokemon he is yet, but this is a test drive so whatever. Still I figure I could use him as an NPC since no one would app him anyway.))

[Going to just wander over and lean on the counter top]

And let me guess, no one left anything but the old turtle? What else is new?

[She didn't have any cash on her but she would try to find some before she headed off to her next spot to stay. Marisa at least thought she was too quick ad was gone before Reimu would noticed the money in the box. If the Miko was quick, she might have but..

Either way Marisa sighs and shakes her head.]

Do ya think it's because it's mostly missions and stuff gettin' snapped up by others?

[This gets a sigh.]

You'd think after everything my family did around this city, this place would be a bit more well known.

[Maybe at one time, but it seemed as if the Hakurei shrine had fallen into obscurity at some point and it had always been somewhat out of the way even at it's prime.

Ah well. She did get some donations from people other than Genji sometimes. She may or may not actually already realize that Marisa leaves things too when she can, but if she has noticed, she's certainly never said anything to the witch about it.

Reimu checked the tea and nodded to herself.]

Anyway, looks like the tea's done.

[With that, she placed the tea pot and two cups on a tray and took it back out into the sitting room to place them on the table and pour some for both of them.]
