This meme is for people to test out new characters in the Brave New World setting! All threads within this meme can be used for the application sample requirements, a thread with one character with at least 10 comments from your character can be used in place of a first person sample, and two threads with two different characters with at least 10 comments from your character can be used in place of a third person sample. Both samples may be negated in this fashion. Here are a few prompts, feel free to make your own if need be! Have fun!

1. A Wild Pokémon appears! But not just any Pokémon, this one is different. Bigger. Stronger. Angrier. More bizarre? This can be anything from an Aggron to a Lickilicky but it should be fully evolved, big, and not something you can handle alone.

2. You and your fellow trainers have discovered a peaceful field that looks like a sanctuary for Grass Pokémon. Do they leave it in peace, observe, or aggressively Befriend everything?

3. The Old City is spitting up tons of Grimer that are infesting Union. It's nasty and there is panic (and slime) in the streets! What do you do?

4. The Habitat Tower is desperately in need of help for taking care of Fire Pokemon - they need volunteers! You've been provided with some oven mitts. Good luck!

5. Oh god there's a swarm of angry Pokémon and they're all bearing down on you run away!

6. You just passed through a cave and found something marvelous. Perhaps it's a room full of brilliant crystal formations. Perhaps it's a cove to a secluded beach. Perhaps it's a large pre-war mansion buried underground but still mostly intact. What is it and what do you do?

[Lucas dodges another cloud of poison gas as he clamps both hands over his mouth and nose.]

[Apparently, his strategy is to politely ask them to leave. It doesn't seem to be turning out very well.]

[Is that... a swarm of angry Wobbuffet? Some of them are wearing lipstick, but all of them are stampeding this way. Lucas looks momentarily baffled at the bizarre sight before he turns to you with an expression of uncertainty.]

Do you think we should try to stop them?

[Yeah, no. Lyle's not going to just stand around and watch this. At some point there's going to be a tug on the back of Lucas's collar as Lyle tries to snatch him up.]

Are you out of your mind, kid? We've gotta get back!

[Whoops Lucas is picked up readily because he weighs barely anything.]

B-But they're getting close to the Medical Center...! If we don't turn them around, all the patients could be in danger from the poison.

I said we need to get back, not to flee!

[At this point, he's pulling Lucas along, letting go of his collar to grab his wrist instead. He's got some sort of oblong bag strapped to his back at the moment. He keeps running until he can get to a good vantage point, then removes the bag from his back and gets ready to open it.]

Sometimes you've gotta step back to get a bigger picture of things. You can't do everything by running up and confronting it in its face, you know?

[Lucas allows himself to be dragged away without putting up too much of a fuss, because to be honest, the fumes had been getting to him, anyway.]

We shouldn't hurt them, either. They're just upset because they've been forced out of their homes. ...One of the operations in Old City must have caused some damage somewhere.

Trust me, there are ways of stopping them in their tracks that have nothing to do with hurting them.

[Lyle pulls a sniper rifle out of the bag and crouches with it near the roof's edge. He takes aim and pulls the trigger.

A beam of solar energy fires from the barrel of the rifle. It hits a pillar near where the Grimer are, blowing a hole in it and toppling it in the Pokémon's path. The road is now blocked.]

There we go! That buys us some time.

Oh!

[That was certainly surprising. But, um...]

...I guess it was probably mostly for decoration, anyway.

[Hooray destruction of public property.]

If we can reroute them to a different part of the Old City, maybe they'll be able to find a different place to stay. ...A place with less people.

Yep, that's the plan. We're gonna herd them along until they're totally diverted. We're gonna have to act quickly, though, so let's get a move on!

I didn't even think Wobbuffets could stampede...

[Rise just looks at the mass of...blue.]

We should probably just get out of the way. Bad things happen when you try to attack those guys.

[It is a mystery where they came from, given that Lucas and Rise are in the middle of an open field inspecting for Pokemon tracks and usable herbs and grasses, but there we go a sea of Wobbuffet.]

Maybe this is some sort of migration. Maybe we should follow them and see what they do when they're out of the caves. ...Maybe we'll find out where they get lipstick.

That's a great idea!

[She thinks about it.]

Although I'm not sure I want to know that last one.

Hm...

[Lucas continues to nod and think to himself for a second.]

...Maybe we should get out of their way while we still have time.

[This seems like a wise idea as he snatches up their equipment and begins to trot off hastily.]

W-Who knew Wobbuffet could have such high Speed?

Yeah...let's get out of here.

[Rise picks up what she can and starts hightailing it after Lucas. She'd be a little better at keeping up if she'd wear boots like a sane person going to observe Pokemon.]

Do you think we should try and communicate with them? Wobbuffets are supposed to be pretty intelligent, right...?

If they keep going, they're going to run straight --

[Lucas points.]
