This meme is for people to test out new characters in the Brave New World setting! All threads within this meme can be used for the application sample requirements, a thread with one character with at least 10 comments from your character can be used in place of a first person sample, and two threads with two different characters with at least 10 comments from your character can be used in place of a third person sample. Both samples may be negated in this fashion. Here are a few prompts, feel free to make your own if need be! Have fun!

1. A Wild Pokémon appears! But not just any Pokémon, this one is different. Bigger. Stronger. Angrier. More bizarre? This can be anything from an Aggron to a Lickilicky but it should be fully evolved, big, and not something you can handle alone.

2. You and your fellow trainers have discovered a peaceful field that looks like a sanctuary for Grass Pokémon. Do they leave it in peace, observe, or aggressively Befriend everything?

3. The Old City is spitting up tons of Grimer that are infesting Union. It's nasty and there is panic (and slime) in the streets! What do you do?

4. The Habitat Tower is desperately in need of help for taking care of Fire Pokemon - they need volunteers! You've been provided with some oven mitts. Good luck!

5. Oh god there's a swarm of angry Pokémon and they're all bearing down on you run away!

6. You just passed through a cave and found something marvelous. Perhaps it's a room full of brilliant crystal formations. Perhaps it's a cove to a secluded beach. Perhaps it's a large pre-war mansion buried underground but still mostly intact. What is it and what do you do?

[Fai has good eyes, which might be hinted at by how the blue of his irises has floated out to cover all of the sclera, and his pupils are super big. But no one except possibly a Ghost can rival a Dark type for night vision, so he's not even going to try. He grins a suitable madcap grin at her, raising his eyebrows.]

So what do you say, then? I'm sure we can find a way to get past the elevator, and at least that saves us having to climb down and up again?

[A pause, and the grin grows even wider.] I'm sure we can deal with the monsters somehow.

*On the one hand there are plenty of reasons this is a bad idea, Immy isn't sure how Fai's flight will work in a small space, and he can't lift her with his other powers. That Good News Bad News about being a Dark type, the good news is he won't get distracted by any of her more interesting thoughts. So...*

Certainly more fun than the stairs! We can figure out what's next when we're on our way.

*With that Imogen leaps for the opposite wall, avoiding the cables in the center to catch the ledge with her fingers. Sliding down the wall by her boots, and moving onto the next level of the building. The cable would do Fai more good, but her delicate fairy nature made steel cables less than her friend.*

[Yes, there are clearly a lot of arguments for why doing this is a super bad idea. If Yuui was there, he could probably come up with even more than the ones that Fai can think of at the top of his head.

And this... this is why hanging out with Immy is awesome. She understands that sometimes you've just got to dive into dark, unexplored holes.]

No more free-riding! [He shrugs off his Woobat, which of course has left a heart-shaped, hickey-looking mark on his arm, but that's just cute anyway. And then he jumps after her, grabbing on to the cable and managing to get a proper grip after a small shriek and some undignified flailing. Then he'll start to lower himself arm over arm into the mirk.]

*Imogen dropped again, catching herself on a small ledge another floor down. Eyes scanning the darkness some more. Trying to listen for any sort of danger, but hearing the world wasn't really her strength.*

So what do you think they have when we get there!? I mean, think of how long it's been since someone has seen these labs? I hope there's something cool... and maybe fashionable. I hope someone left hats behind!

[Fai is attempting to do the same, but he has a short attention span and even in a dark elevator shaft there are enough things present to tug his thoughts away from any semblance of vigilance.]

I've got no idea. But they, you know... [He sounds a bit hesitant more than a bit apprehensive.] Well, it's possible that there are still some forbidden items lying around. [A pause.] But hopefully also hats. Hats would be amazing.

Well, that's always a concern. But the old times wasn't all horrible treatment of Pokemon, there was more stuff. Like hats!

*Imogen your priorities are flawless. She makes her way to the roof of the elevator and gently tests how much weight it can handle. Not that she weighed much but having an elevator fall out from under you probably sucked.*

We need to just keep an eye out for the shiniest of prizes.

[We would practically be drooling if he wasn't in a kind of awkward position to do so. As it is he drops lightly down onto the elevator next to her, using a little bit of psychic energy to make himself lighter, just in case.]

I should probably not be cutting this, or it might fall. You think there's some other way of going through?
