Test run meme!

This meme is for people to test out new characters in the Brave New World setting! All threads within this meme can be used for the application sample requirements, a thread with one character with at least 10 comments from your character can be used in place of a first person sample, and two threads with two different characters with at least 10 comments from your character can be used in place of a third person sample. Both samples may be negated in this fashion. Here are a few prompts, feel free to make your own if need be! Have fun!

1. A Wild Pokémon appears! But not just any Pokémon, this one is different. Bigger. Stronger. Angrier. More bizarre? This can be anything from an Aggron to a Lickilicky but it should be fully evolved, big, and not something you can handle alone.

2. You and your fellow trainers have discovered a peaceful field that looks like a sanctuary for Grass Pokémon. Do they leave it in peace, observe, or aggressively Befriend everything?

3. The Old City is spitting up tons of Grimer that are infesting Union. It's nasty and there is panic (and slime) in the streets! What do you do?

4. The Habitat Tower is desperately in need of help for taking care of Fire Pokemon - they need volunteers! You've been provided with some oven mitts. Good luck!

5. Oh god there's a swarm of angry Pokémon and they're all bearing down on you run away!

6. You just passed through a cave and found something marvelous. Perhaps it's a room full of brilliant crystal formations. Perhaps it's a cove to a secluded beach. Perhaps it's a large pre-war mansion buried underground but still mostly intact. What is it and what do you do?

[Lucas just wants to pet the Ponyta OK Magmar are angry and weird. He dutifully puts on his oven mitts.]

Let's see... I think Magmar really needs high temperatures to be happy. Maybe it's just a little grumpy.

[Grumpy is an understatement. This thing looks like someone peed in its Cheerios.

Margot looks at his oven mitts. Oh dear.]

...Maybe you should go put on one of the welding masks too. Or something. I dunno how much help those mitts are gonna be.

[Lucas shimmers for a moment or two and in the next moment, he seems to have gone a strange tint of green.]

If I keep refreshing my shields, it shouldn't burn too much.

Cracking her neck, she leads the way over to Magmar.]

[Lucas tugs on the oven mitts a little more securely despite them being totally useless.]

And oh look, the Magmar has spotted the Wild Lucas and Wild Margot. Fantastic.

It looks at them and stares.]

[What even did Magmar sleep in Lucas casts a glance back towards its assigned area.]

Rocks. ...Heated rocks.

Yeah, it'll take us a couple of seconds, so we won't bother you for very long...

[It's hard to tell what Magmar's thoughts are on all of this; it continues to stare, though its eyes narrow a little like it's trying to decide who would make the tastier snack or something.]

So yeah. You mind moving over for a couple of seconds?

[And because Lucas hasn't gotten this far in his life by being a total wimp about dealing with Pokemo -- oh wait he kinda did for the first ten year of his life. Oh well. He will slowly approach, anyway.]

Magmar chooses this moment to make life on them harder and charges. What a jerk.]

[At least Lucas is well versed in the art of dodging out of the way, having grown up outside Union. He gives a small yelp and tumbles to the side in a somersault.]

W-Wait! We just want to help -- ! If you let us know what it is that's bothering you, then...

[Margot sidesteps, ready to jump back into the fray if whatever plan they have going on fails or if things get too hot (ahah. Hot.)]

Hey! Knock it off!

[Magmar keeps going and bounces off of a tree, ouch. As it lands, it becomes clear what's bothering it -- there's a thorn stuck in its foot!]

[Lucas calls not-dibs on touching the creature whose body is like 22000 degrees or something absurd like that.]

Look -- There's something wrong. Did you see the way it moved?

[The thorn is easy to spot when he's looking for it.]

...If we can help it, I bet it would calm down a lot.

Yeah, I see it now.

[Oh that means Margot gets to save the day. Boy does she look thrilled. (There's no way she'd let Lucas go near it anyway, but still.)

At least Magmar seems really out of it right now after the collision with the tree.]

I need one of your oven mitts, quick! Before it comes to.

[Lucas will toss it over, though he looks a little guilty about letting Margot deal with this.]

Are you sure? I can try and communicate with it; I could maybe tell it what we needed to do...

Margot hesitates because while she doesn't mind getting the thorn, she's not entirely sure if she can handle two hundred billion degrees of Magmar.]

Didn't really work too well last time, though, yeah? I don't want it running at us again and just getting more pissed off...

[Lucas looks vaguely disgruntled for a moment.]

I don't know what the good of being psychic is if no one ever listens to you...

Um. Please be careful, then...

[And even though Margot is probably immune to fire already, Lucas will cast another Shield over her, anyway.]
