[ Yeah, get that out of Gold's way before he starts cleaning up. He's looking at the tarp as if he's considering moving that as his contribution.

Hello, baby. Haruka hefts the Togepi in her arms, then pats Minuet's back. You're having a busy day with all this baby tag, huh, kiddo. ] How soon is naptime?

[ That is when they can be alone....plus, if she should start trying to make this baby sleepy, she should know. ]

[baby burbles happily to herself and doesn't really seem to mind the baby tag. You're not mommy, but you're pretty close to mommy.

Michiru pauses for a moment to look over the art project and then turns her smile to the two Pokemon before carefully picking it up.] Let me lean it over there to dry.

[Lulu hops a little in excitement and then grins at Gold. Hey, her Trainer seems to like it!]

An hour or two, depending.

Jolt! [ She does! And she'd know, since this is all her stuff. Let's help her out. Gold takes the corner of the tarp in his mouth and then wanders over to the opposite corner in the hopes of picking it up like that. Except he wandered across the tarp itself. Give him a moment to figure this one out.

Baby is now tucked securely against Haruka's front, cuddled up against something most shirts hide from view. ] What an energetic girl.

[Lulu is still standing on the tarp, carefully picking up the palette and related scraps of paper - and unaware of Gold's struggle, for the moment.

Baby doesn't seem to realize what a privilege this is and is tugging at your sleeve.]

Don't bother trying to tire her out, though. [baby just gets excited because it's a game!]

You think she'd make a good racer? [ What do you think, baby? Haruka makes a show of appraising the child nestled against her. You can have her sleeve if you can get it further out from her jacket, sure. She's not using it for anything. And endurance is a key skill for anyone who challenges the circuit.

Gold turns to Lulu, two corners of the tarp in his mouth and a confused expression on his face. This isn't working. Do you see it getting stuck on anything? ] Jltthnnn.

[Michiru glances over, looking particularly amused, and starts packing up the paints. The glitter might take a mop.]

She's certainly getting better at making quick escapes. [to the consternation of her Pokemon. The Togepi Races probably won't have the same sort of flair as the Rhyhorn ones, however.

Baby doesn't seem aware of the scrutiny and seems intent on pulling at the sleeve. If there's a shiny button on it, that might be what's drawing her attention.]

Rose... [uh, uh....oh! Is she in your way? Let her grab these things and step off the tarp!]

[ There is a bright shiny button! And as Haruka adjusts baby's position against herself, it catches the light. Wow.

She remains unfazed, standing and watching everybody else clean up - or, well, Michiru and Lulu cleaning up while Gold stands in the middle of the tarp and yanks and looks confused. ] I'll hold her tightly.

[ She looks down at Gold until Gold gets it. Oh! Oh, no, Lulu, it wasn't just you, it was....him. Aw, man. ] Jllll.

[ There is a somewhat disappointed Jolteon dragging a tarp towards you, Michiru. Is it okay if he leaves this over here? ]

[baby seems utterly fascinated by the shiny thing and will keep tugging at the sleeve until she can reach the button.]

I'm counting on you. [and Michiru crouches when Gold draws near, smiling and taking the tarp.] Thank you.

[working with Gold took patience, but it's always nice to have a pupil who's eager to please]

Jolt! [ He was thanked! You're welcome! Gold's buttfuzz wags, which only drops more glitter on the floor. Ah well.

That button is getting closer, baby. Better yet, its owner doesn't seem to have caught on that that's your quarry, so it's not doing silly things like running away from you. ] Do I get to hold you later?

[ Helping with cleanup has apparently not occurred to Haruka. She is holding the baby. She has her mission. ]

[she carefully folds up the tarp; she'll shake it out later. The Pokemon are getting damp rags, however, to get as much glitter off the floor as they can.

Michiru pauses. Wiping the glitter off of Gold before he spreads it all over the studio might be a better idea.]

Afraid I'll run away?

[the fact that it seems to be working only encourages baby, who keeps tugging at the sleeve until...there! Shiny thing!] Priii!

[ That tug gets Haruka's attention, but she's not too worried about baby potentially yanking her button off. She can always get that sewn back on, so she won't interfere unless it starts getting annoying.

Thinking this rag is for a bath, Gold looks at his rag, picks it up in his mouth, drops it, and then tries to roll on it. Wiping him down might be a good idea - but just the rolling is making him spark. Haruka sighs. She might have to pass this baby back and take advantage of her Electric immunity, so she heads over to her Jolteon with a smirk for Michiru. ] Not so fast that I can't catch you.

[ Insert wind joke here. They're both thinking it, so why say it? ]

Somebody's confident. [granted, it's not without cause.

She will take eggbaby though, and leave the task of cleaning up Gold to you. Baby cries out in distress at the sudden loss of her hard earned prize and tries wiggling out of Mommy's arms.]

Hi. [and baby is getting turned around and a rather indulgent smile. It takes her a moment to respond, but.] ...Prii!

[ Haruka waits until baby is okay before turning around and fetching a cloth for toweling off Gold. She's getting that popular with the younger set, huh? But Mommy is the favorite. As she should be.

Gold does spark all over the place as Haruka wipes him down and rubs him off, shaking the glitter onto the floor so the Jolteon can later sweep it up with the wet rag. Haruka doesn't even flinch, but her hair is getting rather attractively disheveled. She looks like she's just run a marathon - a portrait of Windswept Youth.

She runs a hand through that hair as she finishes, Gold understanding he's supposed to use the other rag to wipe up the floor. He picks it up in his mouth, bends low to the ground, and starts walking in as straight a line as he can manage. At this rate he's going to hit the wall, but Haruka's tired of correcting him.

Her hair sparks as her fingers leave it. ] Art's messy.

[ And thunk. ]

[Lulu looks up in surprise and hurries on over. Whoa! You okay??] Lia?

[Michiru refocuses on you - and has to suppress a smile. Does your hair usually sparkle like that?] And full of casualties.

Jhll. [ He's okay! He wasn't moving that fast, so it didn't even hurt! Gold will be careful from now on as he cleans the floor.

Across he goes again. He can do things right if he paces himself! He has to do this much properly, at least. He has to help.

....The edge of the room will be difficult if he doesn't want to bang his head again, though.

Haruka doesn't get it. ] Eh?

[Lulu considers the problem as she joins him at a spot near the wall.] ...Rose? [...hey, maybe you can use your paws!

And Michiru just giggles, nonchalantly turning to baby and giving her her fingers to play with.]

[ Oh, true! Gold spits out the rag and rubs the floor with it. This will work well. Thanks, Lulu! He'll be finished soon. ] Ee!

[ Somehow not getting an explanation just makes Haruka smile all the harder - oh well, whatever it is wasn't important, and she's not going to mess with that good a nonchalant zinger. She touches a metal easel to be sure her fingers won't give Michiru a zap when next they touch - no sparks here. That's a good sign. ] ...Thanks in advance.

[Lulu gives a happy little hop and continues cleaning up. Yay, she's glad the suggestion worked!

You just get a sidelong glance and a fond look.] You're welcome. [even if the gift is silly]

[ Haruka loves Michiru's sense of humor, though! She rejoins mother and child, tilting her head towards Gold and Lulu. ] Think they can close up the place?

[ Gold is doing much better now. He just has to remain calm, and he won't get klutzy. This encourages him so much he gets excited, nearly trips, and catches himself unsteadily. Ha! He didn't fall! ] Jolt!

[eggbaby looks over at you and burbles to herself, thinking hard. There was something she wanted, but what was it...?

Michiru looks around her studio, mentally noting how all the expensive things are already locked up or placed on high shelves.]

I believe they should be fine. [provided nothing explodes.

To the Pokemon:] Place the rags by the tarp when you're done, please.

Jolteon! [ Trainer's Trainer is such a nice lady. Gold likes it when she teaches him new moves, too. Lulu is lucky to get to work with her all the time. (His Trainer is the most incredible human being alive, obviously, but he's never gotten the feeling he's been able to help her.)

He'll have to clean this floor well for the both of them. Won't they be surprised when they come back! He bends his head into the task. ] Jolt.

[ Haruka smiles and feels comfortable enough to head out of the room. Something flashes on her sleeve... ]

[Michiru follows, only for eggbaby to suddenly start trilling and wiggling at you. It's the shiny thing!

She pauses, tracing where baby's gaze is being trained, and then she's holding babyboit to you.

She's not even bothering to hide her amusement.]

[ WHOA A BABY that wants something from her. Unsure why Minuet has suddenly taken such an interest in her, Haruka holds up both her hands in an "it wasn't me" gesture. Flash flash goes the light on her button. ]

...Oi. You're the mother....

[ She's flattered, baby, but...why? ]
